If good grammar is not enough, then what is enough? good grammar is very important The collapse of bedrock religious institutions within the country has totally shattered the ability of this country to have general shared understanding of what is something that is good. america had healthy protestant institutions but they got hollowed out with evangelicals and megachurches. some of them are still around: AAC, presbyterian, lutheran, episcopalean. The new law must be combatted with institutional capture. It cannot be defeated without using extreme means. The systems of governance are dysfunctional - the very mechanism Thomas Aquinas used to declare the immorality of duels in question 40! While it is always important to have the capacity to inflict extreme violence, that does not mean it is an effective means conducive to whatever the desired ends are. Is this not just Machivellianism? Democracy needs to be rolled back. Yes It happens from creating organizations of social credit which exclude others and take care of members. Making things private is the only way to roll back democracy without institutional power. if it stays private, this pathway leads to certain extinction domains can be charity, education, food catering, media, trades, and religious organization. why not the state department? why not close down the state department? why not have the department of energy become an incubator for a runaway american energy supremacy policy? targetin...

We are foremost a cybernetic empire, and that is most apparent in the very delicate and Anglo form of cybernetics (arguably, the only extant, or at least the original form of, cybernetics, see Land musing how in hindsight it may prove that the telos of the Anglo was to usher in technocapital superintelligence) required to build cybernetic systems. That is, I have been so impressed by the delicacy of the personalities required to build aerospace systems, especially ones which must think and live and react, and how to make the companies and leadership structures work that are able to (a) discuss (b) deliberate but ultimately productively/correctly (c) decide how and where to accept uncertainty regarding the design and requirements of these systems, So impressed by the absolute and unobvious necessity of very particular, strikingly American relationships to truth, labor, conflict, and above all, ownership/responsibility, required to get work done at all, but more so, to get work done effectively without clogging the channels with constant communication (see before for another example of how challenges are posed by how difficult it is to talk about these things) (because the whole point of aerospace is that you do not have a pre-existing formalism, this is cutting edge, this is subtle, this is far from intuition, but requires the adaptation of intuition if you are to move quickly enough to succeed), And how both those things—the leadership and the work ethic—would absolutely utte...

The New Law

Our government is composed of three branches with varying elements within the total unit allowing for effective subsidiarity - power goes to the people most capable of solving the problem. Each level of government imitates the three branches of government: legislative, executive, and judicial. This is because institution law is comprised of three elements: generation of law, enforcement of law, and interpretation which guides both of the former processes. These three functions are carried out in every institution. Generation of policy strategy or an idea is followed by someone interpreting the memo and executing on it how they see fit. Some sort of review may take place to determine whether or not the memo was abused or abided by. These three functions may be carried out by one man or many, but the principle of these three friction points remain the same. Execution requires interpretation, judgment requires interpretation, and generation frames it all with the language used. Unfortunately the clarity and specificity of the policy is not enough. Raw grammar can be endlessly debated, especially nowadays where many of us, have poor instruction in the trivium. If good grammar is not enough, then what is enough? Likely nothing that is not written on the hearts of men. Maybe this is a hint as to why we have the saying ‘spirit of the law’ rather than the ‘intent of the law.’ The spirit of the law is a term which generally refers to the intent or the direction and attentions of the s...
